Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling for cloud products. You will develop P&L and margin models, evaluate NPV and cash flow for future platforms, and collaborate with Engineering, TI, and PM to analyze TCO for AI SKUs.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in FP&A, strong SQL and data skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
• Develop profit and loss and margin models to articulate margin drivers to the executive leadership.
• Develop NPV and cash flow models to evaluate profitability for future NPI platforms and benchmark against other competitive products.
• Partner with Engineering, TI, and PM to analyze the performance and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for AI Product SKUs, incorporating these insights into customer proposals.
• Partner with Cloud Product, Capacity and Engineering on various efficiency initiatives to utilize infra and develop next year efficiency goals.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SQL, large datasets, and integrated financial systems including advanced investigative skills.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, AI/ML hardware (e.g., GPUs/custom silicon).
• Ability to balance immediate free cash flow maximization with long-term priorities in a changing, unstructured environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence Directors and VPs across Engineering, Product, Strategy.
• Proven track record of streamlining complex, cross-functional planning cycles and building "single source of truth" models for complex and capital intensive infrastructure planning mechanisms.

US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
