Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for Data Center Infrastructure Design to drive FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting across global data center projects. You will partner with engineering and operations to deliver disciplined financial projections and strategic insights.

You will model complex scenarios, influence allocation decisions, and support management with deep analysis of risks and opportunities in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company.
• Experience with business partnerships, strategy development, and leadership presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unfortunate events or maximize opportunities.
• Architect, defend, and maintain sophisticated financial models and perform investment analyses and NPV on future infrastructure.
• Drive large, matrixed programs across organizations with robust financial controls and process optimization.
• Identify and advocate opportunities to bend the cost curve downward and improve competitiveness.

• Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced competitive environments, impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome.
• Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
