Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a skilled financial analyst to support department budgeting and forecasting. You will contribute to accurate financial planning and decision support within a premier healthcare environment.

You will analyze healthcare financial data, build forecast models, and present complex results to both financial and clinical leadership using Tableau, Power BI or SQL, with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 4 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and/or accounting with planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with healthcare financial data and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/SQL).

Responsibilities

• Completes complex monthly financial management reports and analyzes variations from forecasts.
• Prepares financial reports for annual financial reports and government agencies.
• Identifies underperforming areas and presents recommendations to upper management.
• Develops financial models and conducts financial analyses.
