The role leverages AI-powered tools and analytics to improve financial modeling, variance analysis, reporting automation and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Finance and department managers for financial performance and budget variance reporting.
• Create annual capital and operating budgets and support bi-weekly productivity monitoring and monthly variance analysis.
• Use AI-assisted analysis, prompt engineering and machine learning/predictive analytics where appropriate to surface actionable insights.
• Automate reporting workflows and build financial tools, dashboards and models using AI-assisted development techniques.
• Perform data reconciliation, financial performance analysis, and independent problem solving on system and budget variances.
• Manage special projects including new department/program system setup and AI tool evaluation/implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an analyst or similar position in healthcare, preferably in an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for financial modeling, variance analysis and reporting automation.
• Prompt engineering skills strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Location & Schedule

• Onsite hybrid role in Mountain View, CA. Day shift, full-time (80 scheduled bi-weekly hours).
• $60.06 - $90.09 USD per hour (as stated in the posting).
