Creative Financial Staffing, LLC partners with an established engineering and professional services firm in the Western Twin Cities Metro to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. You will support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling while partnering with finance leadership and project teams to deliver actionable insights.

This hybrid role offers a base salary of 110,000–135,000 plus a 10% target bonus and 10% profit sharing, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate FP&A or related finance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Experience partnering with operational or project leaders.
• Strong Power BI skills and data visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial systems aptitude.
• Experience in professional services, engineering, or project-based environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop financial models, revenue projections, and scenario analyses.
• Perform variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with project and operational leaders to provide financial insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive presentations.

This highly visible role will work closely with finance leadership and operational teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business decision-making. • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes

• Analyze business performance, project financials, workload, and profitability


• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data integrity, and financial systems

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role


• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills


• Experience partnering with operational, project, or business leaders


• Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data visualization


• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems aptitude


• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights


• Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or another project-based environment is a plus


• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $110,000–$135,000 base salary, with flexibility for the right candidate
