Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or operations finance.
  • Experience supporting multi-unit or healthcare operations preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Adaptive, Workday, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support centralized budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages with variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Analyze key business drivers (revenue, labor, and costs) to identify risks and opportunities.

Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Operations to join our Support Office team.

Make an Impact as the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A Role

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst – Operations is a key individual contributor supporting financial planning, reporting, and performance analytics across a multi-site healthcare organization.

This role partners closely with the Director of FP&A – Operations and Operations leadership to provide actionable insights, improve financial visibility, and drive operational performance. The position plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and decision support across the business.

What You’ll Do
  • Support centralized budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across operations
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Analyze key business drivers (revenue, labor, and costs) to identify risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Operations leadership (GVPs, Regional Directors, Practice Leaders) to support decision-making
  • Deliver standardized reporting and KPI analytics across regions and business lines
  • Perform detailed analysis of operational metrics, including productivity and cost performance
  • Support capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting, ROI analysis, and business case development
  • Partner with Accounting and Data teams to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and data processes
Your Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business required
  • 3–6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or operations finance
  • Experience supporting multi-unit or healthcare operations preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with systems such as Adaptive, Workday, or similar tools preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills{"li":''}
