Job summary

FloSports, Inc. in Austin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business units, build budgets, and drive financial performance with actionable insights. This hybrid role reports to the Director of FP&A.

You will develop financial models, forecast, and deliver reports to senior leadership, balancing data accuracy with clear recommendations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role, focusing on budgeting and business partnering.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel; experience with Anaplan, Planful, NetSuite, and SAP.
  • Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools applied to finance workflows.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will partner closely with business units to build and manage budgets, drive financial performance, and deliver actionable insights. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments at all levels, including senior leadership. This position is based in Austin, TX, and has a hybrid work schedule. This role reports to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units to build, manage, and track budgets aligned with strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate departmental performance, investment opportunities, and risks
  • Proactively identify process improvements and data-driven opportunities that strengthen financial reporting and analysis
  • Prepare and present financial reports, surfacing key insights and recommendations for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Analyze variances between actual and forecasted performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic planning
  • Provide senior leadership with financial insights that drive informed decision-making
  • Build trusted relationships and collaborate with cross-departmental leaders and team members
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role, with a focus on budgeting and business partnering
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel; hands-on experience with a financial planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, Planful) and an ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
  • Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) applied to real finance workflows
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and corporate finance principles
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfort navigating disparate, imperfect data to uncover insights
