- 4+ years of Finance, Strategy, Operations or Analytics experience; fintech/payments/credit & collections a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excel, SQL, and Python (pandas); Snowflake a plus.

Payactiv is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to be the analytical lead for a multi-million-dollar business partnership. This role requires a sharp analytical mindset, strong hands-on technical skills, and excellent communication skills including the ability to engage directly with clients. The ideal candidate will drive both short- and long-term initiatives to improve collections and lower loss rates, lead process improvements and an international finance operations team, and operate effectively in a high-visibility environment. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and is based in our Milpitas, CA office.
- Leverage large and complex data sets to analyze business trends, loss drivers, and performance metrics, generating actionable insights that improve both top-line and bottom-line results
- Translate analytical insights into new or enhanced tools, processes, and operating strategies that deliver measurable business impact
- Communicate clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences, including executives, cross-functional partners, and external clients
- Engage directly with clients to explain our product, address any concerns, and recoup any outstanding amounts
- Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes and internal controls to manage an ecosystem of tens of thousands of individual accounts, maximizing revenue while minimizing uncollected balances
- Drive operational efficiency through automation and technology, enabling the team to effectively manage volume, complexity, and growth
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to build, enhance, and integrate new tools and systems within Payactiv’s broader platform and ecosystem
- Lead, develop, and scale an international finance operations team of 5+ professionals focused on improving collections performance and reducing loss rates for Payactiv disbursements
- Partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Business, FP&A, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to support and advance high‑impactbusiness initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field
- An advanced degree (MBA, Engineering, Data Science) is a plus
- 4+ years of Finance, Strategy, Operations or Analytics experience; experience in fintech, payments, lending, or credit and collections is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with partners and various stakeholders
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Power user in Excel, SQL, and Python (pandas); experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus
- Expertise in analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights
