Job summary

Exponent is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Group in our Phoenix, AZ office. You will manipulate large datasets to extract insights on business performance and collaborate with leadership on strategic objectives.

The role requires at least five years of experience in financial analysis, advanced Excel and BI skills, and the ability to deliver timely, accurate reporting. You will help automate processes and develop dashboards for decision support across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Strong Excel, Power BI and SQL skills; experience with BI reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management on strategic objectives and build financial models.
• Develop financial reports for project teams and leadership.
• Deliver business intelligence to support forward-looking decisions.
• Automate and strengthen current business analysis processes.
• Develop dashboards to analyze results, monitor KPIs, and identify trends.
• Explain drivers affecting performance and forecasts.
• Prepare long-range plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Compile data for annual reviews.
