Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the App Store team within Services Finance. The role focuses on forecasting, analysis, and reporting of key financial information, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and improve profitability.

You will own the monthly App Store forecast, develop KPI frameworks, and help automate reporting with modern tooling including SQL and GenAI, while supporting senior leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Finance or Business experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; forecasting and/or accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Model the impacts of new initiatives including new features, programs, policy shifts, and alternative distribution to support senior leadership decision-making
• Own the monthly forecasting for the App Store, identify inflection points, and surface actionable insights to business partners and the senior leadership team
• Maintain and develop KPI frameworks to track the performance of the App Store including but not limited to billings, developer economics and user engagement trends
• Serve as the finance point of contact across leadership, business, legal, and compliance, translating complex financial data into narratives that drive action
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build scalable
• infrastructure for automated reporting and self-service dashboards
• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows leveraging GenAI, SQL, and modern tooling, reducing cycle time on ad-hoc and recurring deliverables
• Contribute to special projects directed by senior leaders that shape the future of App Store monetization

The Analyst will partner with cross-functional teams across Services Finance and the broader App Store organization to identify, analyze, and solve challenging strategic and operational issues to improve both the top and bottom line.

We are looking for a high-caliber individual with strong analytical capabilities, superior financial / quantitative horsepower, and a deep interest in the App Store to help achieve our financial and business objectives. This role requires managing highly confidential information with a high degree of discretion, accountability, and senior leadership visibility.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of Finance or Business experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; forecasting and/or accounting experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of accounting standards and financial analysis, with a strong analytical / problem solving background.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $211,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
