Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, verify three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and working-capital logic, and write judgments that teach models what defensible finance looks like.

You’ll stress-test AI-driven models, trace numbers back to their drivers, expose unsupported conclusions, and produce clear, defensible analyses ready for CFO review. Flexible, remote, project-based work with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
