Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division builds advanced autonomous air vehicles and munitions systems designed to deter, compel, and defeat adversaries at scale. Our portfolio — including platforms like Fury and Barracuda — spans high-performance multi‑mission air vehicles purpose‑built for contested environments and hyper‑scale production. The AD&S Finance team provides the financial infrastructure to support programs as they scale from rapid development through production ramp, partnering with engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to maintain cost visibility and financial rigor across a fast‑growing portfolio.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide dedicated program finance support to the Advanced Effects Business Line within the Air Dominance & Strike Division. This portfolio spans cutting‑edge missile programs that are rapidly scaling from development into production. Your primary focus will be tracking and forecasting the cost build‑up of hardware products — understanding how material, labor, and overhead flow through each stage of the product lifecycle and translating that into reliable baselines, forecasts, and variance analysis.

You will work closely with Program Managers, Supply Chain, and Accounting to ensure cost visibility keeps pace with program execution. This role requires someone who can operate autonomously, drive projects from inception to completion, and communicate financial performance clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders. You will also help the team navigate ongoing data and systems challenges as we mature our ERP and forecasting tool environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Own program‑level cost forecasting and EAC/ETC development for hardware programs transitioning from development to production
  • Build and maintain bottoms‑up cost models that capture material, labor, overhead, and subcontract elements across the hardware build cycle
  • Track actuals against baselines, identify variances, and drive root‑cause analysis with program and supply chain teams
  • Deliver monthly program financial reporting and present performance narratives to program management and business line leadership
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Accounting to reconcile procurement activity, inventory movements, and cost postings
  • Support the development and improvement of forecasting workflows in FP&A and ERP tools (Oracle, Anaplan, Foundry)
  • Assist in pricing activities and proposal cost volume development
  • Contribute to long‑range planning and production rate ramp financial modeling
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process efficiency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, program finance, or cost analysis — preferably in an environment that manufactures or integrates hardware
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience building or managing cost models for physical products (BOM‑based costing, production cost build‑ups, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of how material, labor, and indirect costs flow through a manufacturing or defense program lifecycle
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and carry projects forward with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting financial narratives and variance explanations to non‑finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data tools; experience with ERP platforms (Oracle preferred) is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • DoD industry experience or familiarity with government contract cost accounting (FAR/CAS)
  • Security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
  • Experience navigating ERP transitions or standing up new forecasting toolsExposure to supply chain or procurement finance

Per Anduril's expansion plans, we anticipate this job will be based out of Long Beach, CA beginning late 2027.
