About the Role:

The Role: Senior Financial Analyst - AR

The Team: Be part of a Global AR & Credit team to provide functional and technical management expertise. Improve key financial OTC metrics (DSO, Delinquency, and Cash Collections). This position is key for maximizing shareholder value.

The Impact: Assist the AR–Cash Global Senior Manager and Credit & Collections Leadership with analyses related to Reserve, DSO, Delinquent AR, and Cash Collections across all divisions. Review and analyze internal and external interface monitoring during each close, involving departments within the Order to Cash process and other workstreams. Understand subsystems like Smart View, Tableau, PIMS, Oracle R12, GL, SAP, AR, AP modules, and ARCS Accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting, audit, systems controls, and SOX procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand accounting and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Perform analysis and deliver monthly results on DSO, Delinquent AR, and Cash Collection to senior management.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of Bad Debt accounting and processes.
  • Analyze KPIs, provide monthly reports, and investigate drivers for KPI changes compared to historical data.
  • Support finance and collection teams in consolidating, analyzing, and reporting revenue data.
  • Learn analytical tools like Alteryx, Blue Prism, Tableau for operational reports and reconciliations.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports.
  • Resolve issues efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Provide backfill and support to other accountants across departments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers at all levels.
  • Work independently, manage tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA preferred, with 2-6 years of accounting or audit experience.
  • Experience with Oracle R12, PIMS, SAP, and Salesforce CPQ preferred.
  • Willingness to learn new and legacy systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating globally.
  • Experience working with offshore partners.
  • High accuracy, ability to handle workload, and understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Assertiveness in issue resolution, multitasking ability, and independence.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, primarily US/UK hours, including overtime.
  • Willing to work in India office during US/UK hours and in a hybrid setup.
