Job summary

Centric Infrastructure Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to perform comprehensive financial planning, modeling, and reporting across the organization. You will collaborate with Business Development and Investment Committee on deal models and forecasts.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel/PowerPoint analysis, ERP system knowledge, and diligence in budgeting, cash flow, and debt metrics. 3–5 years of finance experience preferred; MBA/CFA preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and own deal models with valuation metrics (IRR, MOIC, NPV).
  • Build and maintain financial models and templates for deal stages.
  • Analyze trends in revenues, costs, and earnings across business units.
  • Develop Excel/PowerPoint data visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Support rolling forecast and annual budgeting.
  • Monitor debt financing and key debt metrics.
  • Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual reports and earnings analyses.
  • Prepare memorandums and presentations for internal/external audiences.

Job description

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for performing a broad range of financial planning and analytical functions, including short and long-term financial projections, extensive financial modeling, deal model valuations, capital and operating budgeting and cash flow forecasting, and credit facility management.

  • Create, update, and own deal models in concert with the Business Development team and Investment Committee. (requires strong familiarity with valuation metrics e.g., IRR, MOIC, NPV, etc.)

  • Build, maintain, and adjust various financial models and standard templates for distribution within the Finance department and for use by internal clients during the deal modeling stages, ensuring quality, accuracy, and a focused analytic review.

  • Analyze trends in revenues, costs and earnings for all profit centers, lines of businesses and clients.

  • Develop data visualizations primarily using Excel and PowerPoint to share insights with stakeholders.

  • Support Manager, Strategic Finance in updating rolling financial forecast and in preparing company’s annual budget.

  • Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual credit reporting requirements.

  • Monitor debt financing and common debt metrics (e.g., leverage ratio, DSCR, etc.).

  • Coordination and preparation of earnings and cash flow forecasts.

  • Coordination and preparation of monthly earnings and financial results and analysis for presentation to management and external stakeholders.

  • Coordination of the quarterly earnings reports for board meetings.

  • Coordination of the annual budgeting process and preparation of reports including earnings, cash flow, and capital budgets.

  • Preparation and analysis of forecasted cash flows.

  • Significant data extraction, ad-hoc reporting, project-based analysis, and what-if analysis.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to personnel and company information &/or transactions.

  • Demonstrate an appropriate understanding/working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles and three-statement models.

  • Identify non-value-added processes within the department and seek solutions.

  • Participate as a key contributor in assessing potential investment projects and opportunities using capital budgeting techniques.

  • Assess the company’s current asset status, their future needs, and investment goals.

  • Provide analytical rigor and strategic ideas to the growth, revenue, and cost drivers of the business.

  • Perform in-depth market analysis of customers and competitors.

  • Preparation of various memorandums and presentations for internal and external audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field

  • 3-5 years of applicable work experience in accounting or finance position; a thorough understanding of general accepted accounting principles

  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong financial modeling skills

  • Knowledge and experience with an enterprise ERP system

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems

  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration and/or CFA

  • Prefer related experience in private equity or a startup, emerging growth, or private equity funded business.

  • Prior M&A and debt financing experience.
