Nemak is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to drive strategic analysis for P&L optimization and working capital improvement.

The role partners with the Plant Controller on capex tracking, asset accounting, inventories, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, product costing, and external audit support. • Strong accounting, costing and inventory management experience.

• Manage asset base from the financial perspective (capitalizations, impairments, asset tags, etc.).
• Support month-end close focusing on the balance sheet and inventory accruals, plus auditor support.
• Develop deep understanding of the SAP ERP to troubleshoot inventory/transaction issues.
• Maintain standard costing in ERP for internal production.
• Support MP&L with routings and BOMs in ERP from the financial perspective.
• Develop and maintain reports to show inventory trends to plant leadership.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for strategic analysis to find opportunities to improve the P&L and Net Working Capital. Assists the Plant Controller with capital expenditure tracking, asset accounting, physical inventories, month end close, annual budgeting and forecasting, product costing, monthly commentary and support of external auditor requests.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage asset base from the financial perspective (capitalizations, impairments, asset tags, etc.)
• Support month-end close, primarily focused on the balance sheet, including all accruals related to inventory aging and obsolescence, plus support for auditors
• Develop deep understanding of the ERP (SAP) to troubleshoot issues related to inventory or transactional errors
• Maintain standard costing in ERP system for internal production
• Support MP&L with routings and BOMs in ERP, ensuring accuracy from the financial perspective
• Develop and maintain reports to provide visibility to plant leadership on inventory trends (mainly Spare Parts)

Position Requirements
