As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the production, aggregation, reporting, and communication of financial metrics on both GAAP and STAT bases. By providing key insights into actual and projected business trends, you will identify earnings drivers and prepare comprehensive reporting packages for senior financial leaders. You will administer and report on the BPC Planning module in SAP supporting various financial and projection teams and develop tools and policies for efficient business processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in projecting and analyzing various line items for the GAAP income statement, supporting adjusted earnings and net income projections for all company business segments and economic scenarios.
- Conduct Corporate and Other segment projection work and cashflow projections.
- Collaborate with the treasury team and other stakeholders to ensure projections align with overall objectives and assumptions.
- Produce, aggregate, report and communicate financial metrics, preparing comprehensive reporting packages for senior financial leaders.
- Prepare key reporting packages for senior financial leadership and collaborate across financial areas to identify key earnings drivers and provide strategic insights.
- Develop and maintain tools, templates, and policies for efficient business processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in projecting adjusted earnings and net income.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create accurate financial projections, providing strategic recommendations and process improvements.
- Administer and report on the BPC Planning module in SAP, while supporting various financial teams and their needs.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field with increasing responsibilities, preferably in financial services or corporate finance.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with familiarity in data management tools and financial software.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial data to various stakeholders.
- Ability to carry out initiatives independently and drive results with limited oversight, demonstrating problem solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
- Experience in corporate financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage relationships with business partners across the organization.
