Job summary

Colliers in Woodbridge, NJ seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver expert financial analysis and support transaction management and brokerage services. You will develop cash flow models, analyze leases and client portfolios, and present findings to drive decision making.

The role requires 2–5 years in real estate/capital markets, advanced Excel with Argus, and strong research skills. Onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or related area.
• 2–5 years’ experience in real estate and/or capital markets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with Argus modelling experience.
• Experience developing cash flow models and in‑depth financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Optimize client’s real estate acquisition and disposition strategies by developing comprehensive financial models, conducting research, and performing analysis of leases, proposals, and client portfolios.
• Design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flow.
• Provide exceptional service to clients through analytical tools and cost‑effective analysis that can influence purchase decisions.
• Assist in developing content and writing presentations and offering memoranda.
• Communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment and support client presentations, RFP responses, and new business pitches.
• Excel in a fast‑paced environment, delivering results with the highest accuracy in financial analysis.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our support operations by providing expert financial analysis and other analytical work to support transaction management and brokerage services. Armed with exceptional analytical and organizational skills and a keen eye for details, you’re a problem solver who’s always looking for ways to improve internal processes to achieve better results.

In this role, you will…

What Success Looks Like

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area.
• 2–5 years’ experience in real estate and/or capital markets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with Argus modelling experience.
• Experience developing cash flow models and in‑depth financial analysis.
• Strong research skills and attention to details.
• Commercial real estate experience is required.
• Action oriented and can handle multiple deadlines with minimal direction and supervision.

Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Area / Location Specific: Woodbridge, NJ. Approximate Compensation for this Role: Annual salary range $100,000 - $130,000.

The compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Benefits

Employees can enrol in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15 days vacation annually. Certain senior‑level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and four weeks (for non‑birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) of paid parental leave will also be available after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.

Bonus
