Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support the company’s financial forecast, annual budgeting, and operating plans, including variance analysis and special projects. This role reports to the Vice President, FP&A.

You will analyze trends in revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures; build financial models; and provide timely recommendations to senior management for decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA is a plus.
  • 4-7 years’ FP&A or transaction services advisory experience.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; high emotional quotient (EQ).
  • Proactive, responsive; identifies opportunities to drive business forward.
  • Strong analytical skills with curiosity; ability to engage with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends in revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators; highlight variances; work with leaders on corrective actions.
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and in-depth analysis for Senior Management and department heads.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial information and provide timely recommendations to management.
  • Partner with internal business unit heads to provide financial forecasting and analysis.

JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
REPORTS TO: Vice President, FP&A
Summary Aligned Data Center is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Company’s financial forecast, annual budgeting process, and all operating plans, including variance analysis and special projects. This position will report to the Vice President of FP&A.
Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance and working with respective leaders to develop, implement and track corrective actions needed to return the business to operating targets.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and in-depth analysis to support Senior Management Team and Department heads.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
  • Partner and develop strong working relationships with various internal business unit heads to provide financial analysis and forecasting to support the business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA is a plus.
  • 4-7 years’ experience in FP&A or transaction services advisory roles.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, high EQ.
