ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Finance Associate in Los Angeles to support regional analytics with our ESC team for close, budgeting, and forecasting. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, and collaboration across Accounting and Operations.

The position offers $80,000-$105,000 annually with potential participation in company incentive programs. Strong Excel, Hyperion SmartView, and Anaplan experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; Hyperion SmartView is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Update 12-month forecast quarterly
• Conduct reports and analyses related to annual budget and quarterly financial metrics
• Review P&L for variances and advise operations on opportunities for improvement

• Contribute to month-end close processes and submit journal entries
• Special projects and other duties as required

Overview

The Senior Finance Associate will provide analytical support to their designated region. This person will be working closely with our Accounting Team in our Enterprise Service Center (ESC) for our financial close as well as our Operations department to assist in budgeting and forecasting. This is a key position that will interact with team members at all levels, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

$80,000-$105,000 annually (US Dollars) The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
