This role serves as a strategic business partner to the US Surgical Vision commercial organization, supporting Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations through data-driven insights, investment analysis, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business analytics, sales finance, strategy, or related functions supporting business growth.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to influence decision-making and communicate financial insights with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Evaluate investments, promotions, pricing initiatives, and business cases to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze sales performance, market dynamics, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders, influencing investment decisions and execution of priorities.
• Lead monthly revenue close activities while maintaining financial controls and SOX compliance.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and scorecards to improve visibility into performance.
• Invest in personal growth and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, US Surgical Vision Sales . This role serves as a strategic business partner to the US Surgical Vision commercial organization, supporting Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations through data-driven insights, investment analysis, and performance management. The position plays a critical role in evaluating growth opportunities, tracking commercial investments, and delivering actionable recommendations that accelerate business performance. This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL or Irvine, CA. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working schedule, with days both in the office and remote each week.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, translating business trends into actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate commercial investments, promotional programs, pricing initiatives, and business cases to support strategic decision-making and maximize return on investment.
• Analyze sales performance, market dynamics, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to evaluate business performance and translate insights into recommendations that support strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, influencing investment decisions, commercial strategy, and execution of key business priorities.
• Lead monthly revenue close activities while maintaining strong financial controls and SOX compliance.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and performance scorecards that improve visibility into sales performance and business results.
• Invest in personal growth and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.

MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in finance, business analytics, commercial finance, strategy, or related fields is required.

Experience / Skills

• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business analytics, sales finance, strategy, or related functions supporting business growth.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Ability to influence decision-making and communicate financial and business insights effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance to drive business outcomes.
• Experience evaluating investment opportunities, business cases, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives to support business growth
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and data visualization or automation tools preferred.
• Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and performance tracking.
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
