Job summary

DisruptiX Talent Solutions in Irvine, CA seeks a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team on a temp-to-hire basis. The role focuses on FP&A, partnering with business leaders and improving financial processes in a growing organization.

You will own OpEx/ SG&A analyses, support budgeting and forecasting, build and update financial models, and provide clear insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance or financial analysis experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience analyzing OpEx / SG&A and cost-center performance.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial and ERP data.

Responsibilities

• Own and analyze monthly operating expenses across multiple accounts and cost centers.
• Review detailed GL activity and identify drivers behind financial results.
• Prepare Budget vs. Actual reporting and investigate variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and quarterly planning activities.
• Update financial models with actual results and evaluate trends against budget and forecast.
• Partner with department leaders and cost-center owners to understand spending and drivers.
• Translate financial information into insights for Finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Support cash flow, KPI and management reporting analysis.
• Assist with monthly close and recurring financial reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting and FP&A processes.
• Work with ERP and financial data to improve visibility and reporting.
• Support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as the organization grows.

DisruptiX Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Irvine to identify a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team on a temp-to-hire basis.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys getting into the details, partnering with business leaders and helping build and improve financial processes within a growing environment.

The engagement is expected to begin at approximately 25–30 hours per week, with flexibility around scheduling and the opportunity for hours and responsibilities to increase as business needs grow. The long-term intent is to identify someone who could develop into a permanent member of the Finance organization.

This position is fully onsite in Irvine, CA.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Approximately 3–7 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance or financial analysis experience.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Hands-on experience analyzing OpEx / SG&A and cost-center performance.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial and ERP data.
• Ability to dig beyond summary-level results and explain the "why" behind financial performance.
• Experience partnering with department leaders and communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating in a lean, evolving and growth-oriented environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting/data tools is strongly preferred.

This role is best suited for someone who wants more than a short-term consulting assignment. The company is looking for an individual who can make an immediate impact during the initial engagement and has genuine interest in a longer-term, permanent opportunity as the position and organization continue to grow.

Candidates should be comfortable beginning on a reduced-hour schedule of approximately 25–30 hours per week and working fully onsite in Irvine.
