Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a well-known hospitality company in Chicago to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for the expanding Finance team. This role offers growth, development opportunities, and a competitive salary with strong benefits.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, partnering with departments to provide analytics and strategic plans, conducting P&L and variance analyses, and supporting consolidation and HQ deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 3–5 years finance experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of financial software/applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and assist in analyzing financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
• Partner with departments and leadership to provide guidance around reports, analytics, strategic plans, business plans, and targets.
• Prepare P&A analysis, risk and opportunity analysis, and bridge comments to shed insights into the business.
• Assist consolidation of financials, monthly reporting requirements, HQ deliverables, and ad-hoc analyses/presentations for management.
• Make recommendations to improve efficiency of reporting processes and budget.
• Provide financial consulting regarding pricing and special projects.

Education

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports- assisting in the analysis of financial information to determine present and future financial performance, including coordinating monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes .
• Partner with various departments and leadership to provide guidance around reports, analytics, strategic plans, business plans, and targets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&A analysis, Risk and Opportunity analysis, and bridge comments to shed insights into the business.
• Assist consolidation of financials, monthly reporting requirements, HQ deliverables, and prepares special adhoc financial analysis and presentations for management.
• Make recommendations to improving the efficiency of the financial reporting processes and budget.
• Provides accurate and timely feedback on discrepancies and unreasonable and unsupported financial conditions or situations
• Provides financial consulting regarding pricing and special projects.

Qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years finance experience
• MBA preferred
• Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets and or word processing required.
