Job summary

N-able in Burlington, MA is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. This highly visible role involves building models, partnering with budget holders, and translating complex data into digestible insights that guide decisions.

You’ll work with Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau and AI tools, developing dashboards and scenarios, supporting executive materials, and helping shape growth in a fast‑growing cybersecurity SaaS business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A or similar analytical roles.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics is a big plus.
• Proficiency in Excel; build flexible, dynamic models from scratch.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan, and AI tools is highly desired.
• Ability to synthesize details and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on operational plans and understand drivers of top line performance and spend behavior.
• Drive ARR modeling & analysis with focus on variances to plan, growth levers, and patterns across customers.
• Build ad hoc financial models supporting executive initiatives from Earnings, BOD content, to OPEX & headcount planning.
• Support BOD materials, QBR materials, and other recurring presentations with clear content for varied audiences.
• Develop into a trusted power user of Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau, and AI tools to unlock productivity across FP&A and partners.

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team at a growing, publicly traded, cybersecurity SaaS business. We're looking for a versatile FP&A professional who is comfortable building models, partnering with budget holders, and synthesizing complex data into digestible, actionable insights. This is a highly visible role that will be relied on to help drive decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Partner with leaders across the business on operational plans, understanding drivers of both top line performance and spend behavior


• Drive ARR modeling & analysis with a focus on untangling variances to plan, growth levers, and other one-click-down patterns across our customer base


• Build ad hoc financial models supporting C-Suite initiatives that range from Earnings support and BOD content, to OPEX & headcount scenario planning


• Act in a supporting role for BOD materials, QBR materials, and other recurring presentations, with a focus on digestible, clear content for a variety of audiences


• Develop into a trusted, power user of Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau, and AI tools, helping to unlock productivity across both FP&A and business partners

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, or similar analytical roles; familiarity with SaaS industry and metrics a big plus


• Proficiency in Excel and ability to build flexible, dynamic models from scratch


• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Anaplan, and AI tools (MSFT Copilot, Claude) is highly desired


• Ability to understand the details, synthesize them, and effectively communicate findings verbally and in writing, including presentation of content


• Attention to detail and highly organized
