This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager-Foodservice.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Foodservice National Accounts, serves as the primary finance business partner for the Foodservice National Accounts channel, including Control Label products. The role leads financial planning, forecasting, reporting, pricing analysis, customer profitability analysis, and strategic decision support. By translating financial and operational data into actionable recommendations, this position helps the organization manage risk, improve decision quality, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth while maintaining financial accuracy, integrity, and alignment with corporate objectives.

The Senior Financial Analyst partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Revenue Management, and other cross-functional teams to assess national-account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic initiatives. Success requires strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for business leaders.

Primary Accountabilities
  1. 1. Lead monthly forecasting and Annual Operating Plan activities for National Accounts, maintaining integrated revenue, volume, margin, and profitability models and clearly communicating key assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  2. 2. Provide financial guidance to Sales and commercial teams by evaluating customer strategies, promotional programs, pricing initiatives, and growth opportunities and recommending actions that balance volume, revenue, margin, and customer profitability.
  3. 3. Analyze business performance and the key drivers of sales, margin, customer profitability, and product mix; distinguish recurring trends from short-term variance; and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders.
  4. 4. Support pricing decisions, customer contract negotiations, and RFP responses by developing financial analyses, scenario models, and profitability assessments that identify value drivers, risks, and acceptable economic outcomes.
  5. 5. Manage commodity and market-based models to quantify raw-material cost impacts, identify margin and inventory risks, and inform timely pricing, sourcing, and inventory strategies.
  6. 6. Serve as a trusted finance partner to Foodservice leadership, translating complex financial data into clear business recommendations that support profitable growth.
  7. 7. Represent Finance in the Integrated Business Planning process by reconciling demand, supply, and financial assumptions; identifying gaps and risks; and improving forecast accuracy through clear ownership and follow-up.
  8. 8. Partner with Accounting and Revenue Management during month-end close to validate results, ensure accurate trade accruals and financial reporting, explain material variances, and maintain financial integrity.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, or business finance.
  • Experience applying customer profitability, pricing analysis, and forecasting processes in a commercial business environment.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to build driver-based forecasts, evaluate scenarios, assess customer profitability, and communicate conclusions to business leaders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency using ERP systems and financial planning tools to extract, reconcile, analyze, and communicate financial information.
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Power BI expertise (visualizations, data modeling).
  • Advanced analytics or finance certification (CFA, CPA, CMA)
