Job summary

First Command is seeking seasoned Financial Advisors who can guide military families toward financial security. As an independent contractor, you will work with existing First Command clients, deepen relationships, and grow your business through a high-touch, consultative approach.

You’ll deliver comprehensive financial guidance across accumulation, preservation, and legacy, tailoring plans for investment management, retirement, taxes, insurance, and estate considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in financial services with strong client relationships.
• Skilled in portfolio and wealth management and long-term planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust.
• Entrepreneurial drive to run an independent practice and earn via commissions.
• Military experience or affiliation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Trusted Advisor by aligning goals across accumulation, preservation, and legacy.
• Deliver advanced, personalized planning across investments, retirement, taxes, insurance, and estate considerations.
• Provide a high-touch client experience with clarity, confidence, and responsiveness.
• Engage the military community to generate referrals and growth opportunities.
