Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Advisor, Investment Advisor, or similar role
  • Demonstrated success building and expanding a book of business
  • Experience advising affluent and high‑net‑worth individuals and families
  • Strong business development, prospecting, and relationship management skills
  • Deep understanding of investment management and financial planning principles
  • Active Series 65 license or ability to obtain shortly after hire
  • Ability to travel throughout the Central Texas market
  • Experience within a bank‑affiliated wealth management platform preferred
  • Familiarity with estate planning concepts, wealth transfer strategies, and business succession planning
  • Experience working with business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs preferred
Description
  • Develop and manage relationships with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients
  • Lead business development initiatives to attract new assets and expand market presence
  • Conduct client discovery meetings and assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and planning needs
  • Present customized investment and wealth management strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Coordinate with commercial banking, private banking, and other internal partners to identify opportunities and deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Maintain relationships with attorneys, CPAs, business advisors, and other centers of influence
  • Analyze client financial situations and recommend investment, retirement, estate, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Guide clients through liquidity events, business transitions, retirement planning, and succession planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with portfolio management, financial planning, and client service teams to ensure a high‑quality client experience
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions, investment products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends
  • Manage client relationships with a focus on retention, growth, and long‑term trust
