Job summary

Allison Transmission seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to drive key finance processes and support strategic initiatives across a multinational operation with ~$6B in revenue. You will optimize workflows, enhance systems, and partner with segment finance to improve forecasting, budgeting, and reporting capabilities.

You will collaborate with corporate FP&A, IT, and operations to implement best practices, develop business cases, and ensure financial transparency and scalability across two segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
• MBA or PMP certification preferred.
• 5-7+ years of FP&A, finance transformation, or related roles within a global organization.
• Strong understanding of finance processes across planning, reporting, and operational support.
• Experience with finance systems, automation tools, and data analytics (SAP/Oracle/OneStream/Power BI).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support finance process improvement across two segments.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics enhancements.
• Partner with segment finance and corporate FP&A to review processes and implement best practices.
• Support system upgrades, digital transformation, and data governance.
• Coordinate business cases, project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication for finance-related initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation of key finance processes, controls, and workflows.
• Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights that guide improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, accounting, operations, and other functions to align requirements.
• Monitor performance of processes and tools to ensure sustained benefits.
• Prepare updates for senior finance leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
