Job summary

Athene seeks an Associate Vice President, Finance Implementation to partner within the Corporate Controller organization. You will own strategic initiatives from problem definition to adoption, working with Controllership leaders and the Finance Transformation Office to deliver sustainable, auditable solutions with strong controls.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex processes, leveraging data and technology, and establishing governance and ownership.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting/finance/finance technology or transformation.
Demonstrated success leading complex Finance/Controllership initiatives from concept through implementation.
Strong understanding of controllership processes, data, reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead Controllership initiatives from assessment through implementation and adoption.
Diagnose processes at transaction level, evaluate data, controls, and technology.
Design scalable future-state solutions leveraging data, automation, and AI tools.
Translate needs into actionable requirements and success measures across teams.
Establish governance, metrics, and support models for sustainable ownership.
Lead with ownership mindset and promote an inclusive, risk-aware culture.
