Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Corporate Sector seeks a Senior Specialist, Finance Solution Architect to design scalable finance solutions across Accounting, Controls, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, Audit and Real Estate. You will lead architecture discussions, evaluate SaaS options, guide development teams, and ensure secure, compliant deployments aligned with Eaton's strategic goals.

This role sits at multiple site locations across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum eight (8)years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting & Controls, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, Audit and Real Estate
• Expert level understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of one of the following locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA or, Raleigh NC OR are you Active Duty Military

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and problem statements for the Finance Value Stream and build architectures
• Drive architecture discussions with stakeholders including architecture council, business, and cyber security
• Evaluate SaaS options, rate candidates, and onboard preferred SaaS solutions; integrate with Eaton apps
• Provide architectures to integrate existing Eaton applications to meet business needs
• When SaaS is not an option, design internal applications with a cloud-first mindset
• Provide design oversight during project execution with development teams
• Align solutions with Eaton's strategic business and IT goals
• Collaborate with other Architects to expand application usage across value streams
• Partner with cyber security to ensure secure architectures and DR readiness
• Work with product owners to develop and align roadmaps and rollout sequencing
