Job summary

Kalwall Enterprises Inc. in Manchester, NH, now part of Apogee, seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead the financial planning, accounting, and reporting for Kalwall, Kal-lite, and Structures Unlimited.

This on-site role oversees G/L, costing, inventory, and internal controls while driving budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional partners. The position requires 10–15 years in accounting, manufacturing experience, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Masters or CPA preferred.
• 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Minimum 5 years leading a team.
• On-site work requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance integration roadmap with the Apogee integration team, ensuring full transition to GAAP accounting and SOX compliance.
• Oversee accounting activities including general ledger, costing, inventory, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and operational metrics with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain strong internal controls and SOX framework.
• Lead development of standard cost models, BOMs, and overhead allocations; analyze production costs and variances.
• Collaborate on annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Advise Kalwall leadership on financial implications of strategic decisions; support pricing, capex, and cost optimization.
