This position reports directly to the VP Finance, Instruments and Enterprise Services Division (IES). It involves managing a full P&L and partnering with the LE Services General Manager. The role offers influence within a growing, multidimensional business, with potential for career growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead all activities related to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Analyze BU-level financial data, identify key variances impacting quarterly performance targets.
- Collaborate with Shared Services and Factories to develop consistent reporting processes and resolve issues.
- Communicate key findings effectively to LE and IES Division leadership.
- Consolidate financial results from multiple ERP platforms for FP&A activities.
- Establish strong business partnerships with LE and LE Services leadership teams.
- Improve ROI of Services Connected programs and establish AR field.
- Communicate insights clearly and make validated judgments.
- Partner with service leaders to develop and implement growth and efficiency initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis to support service cost efficiency and revenue growth initiatives.
- Develop and deploy financial reporting tools and metrics to enhance decision-making.
- Manage expense reporting, approval, and governance processes.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in General Ledger expense accounts across global operations.
- Drive commercial growth through market, pipeline, and backlog analytics.
- Manage deferred revenue, working capital, and other financial aspects of service contracts.
- Lead process improvement projects like Project Gold.
- Attract, develop, and retain a team of 2 finance professionals across NA and EMEA.
Education and Experience:
5-10 years of dynamic finance experience supporting a global manufacturer and service provider (preferably in services organizations). Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High-energy self-starter with results-driven mindset.
- Operationally oriented finance professional with a consultative approach.
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis, accounting, and business process re-engineering.
- Strategic and business-savvy with operational understanding of business decisions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
- Proficiency in PLN/SAP/CMR; preferred in BAAN, BoE, MS Office.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
