VAST Data, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Finance Manager to anchor our upstream supply chain finance function. You will partner with operations and strategic sourcing to translate component-level tactics into P&L impact and secure long-term supply needs.

The role requires 7+ years in finance with semiconductor knowledge, strong modeling skills, and the ability to influence cross-functionally with engineering and procurement leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in finance with deep expertise in supply chain or component-level procurement finance.
• Working knowledge of the semiconductor ecosystem (NAND, DRAM, ICs), pricing mechanics, and allocation deal structures.
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements with suppliers, balancing P&L targets with legal/treasury requirements.
• Advanced financial modeling capable of scenario and what-if analyses for complex supply chains.
• Ability to bridge engineering requirements, procurement goals, and financial constraints for executives.

Aufgaben

• Lead financial evaluations of supplier structures and model long-term margin impacts across sourcing scenarios.
• Forecast NAND/DRAM/Controller pricing trends to inform product margin planning.
• Act as finance analyst for supplier negotiations and standardize upstream terms.
• Manage relationship with Contract Manufacturers and hubbing partners; drive inventory health including E&O.
