You will be the frontline Digital partner for Finance stakeholders, helping define the Finance technology roadmap, support business case and ROI development, improve process maturity, and ensure initiatives align with business value, enterprise priorities, and Digital delivery capacity.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Partnership (25%)
  • Lead the identification, development, and alignment of Finance business needs with Digital solutions and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Finance stakeholders, Digital leadership, Centers of Excellence, and cross‑functional teams to maximize opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary Digital partner for Finance, translating business needs into clear requirements, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate across FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and other Finance functions.
  • Help develop a Finance business roadmap, including system improvements, reporting needs, automation opportunities, and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
  • Ensure Finance priorities are properly evaluated, sequenced, and delivered through the right Digital delivery teams.
Finance Intake, Prioritization & Roadmap Management (25%)
  • Build and manage a structured Digital intake process for Finance requests.
  • Evaluate incoming requests based on business value, urgency, regulatory needs, risk, resource capacity, technical complexity, and strategic alignment.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions with Finance leadership and Digital delivery teams.
  • Maintain visibility into the Finance‑related Digital portfolio, including active initiatives and backlog items.
  • Gather process insights, document business requirements, and identify opportunities for rationalization, simplification, automation, and standardization.
  • Define clear scope, success criteria, expected outcomes, and business ownership for initiatives.
  • Champion data, dashboards, KPIs, and structured decision‑making to improve prioritization and value delivery.
Business Case, ROI & Value Delivery (25%)
  • Develop business cases for Finance‑related Digital initiatives, including cost estimates, ROI, and risk reduction.
  • Help Finance teams quantify the value of Digital initiatives: process efficiency, effort reduction, controls, reporting cycles, forecast accuracy, and risk.
  • Collaborate with Digital delivery teams to estimate solution options, delivery effort, and implementation risks.
  • Develop consistent templates and standards for intake, business requirements, prioritization scoring, business cases, ROI analysis, and post‑implementation lookbacks.
  • Track value delivery, adoption, realized benefits, and lessons learned.
  • Provide portfolio‑level reporting on roadmap progress, intake volume, backlog health, delivery performance, business value, and key risks.
  • Support executive updates and recommendations on Digital priorities, investment trade‑offs, resource constraints, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost discipline, productivity initiatives, and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor performance against financial targets and support corrective actions through data‑driven analysis.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Execution (25%)
  • Act as a strategic advisor and trusted Digital partner to Finance leadership.
  • Connect Finance stakeholders with the appropriate Digital COE delivery teams.
  • Establish goals, performance metrics, governance cadences, and accountability measures.
  • Foster a partnership culture emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support change management, stakeholder communication, user adoption, and process alignment.
  • Help mature the Digital business partnership model with repeatable intake, prioritization, roadmap, business case, and value delivery practices.
  • Improve financial statement accuracy, controls, compliance, audit readiness, and reporting integrity.
  • Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks related to Finance processes and systems.
Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and related controls.
  • Experience working as a bridge between business teams and technology teams.
  • Experience managing intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience developing business cases, ROI analysis, cost‑benefit analysis, and value realization tracking.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, statutory reporting and corporate policy.
