Job summary

Medica, a nonprofit health plan serving multiple states, seeks a Finance data role to support the implementation of a new TPA-administered claims platform. The role involves validating financial data, ensuring data quality, and running month-end processes in a collaborative, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5 years of work experience beyond the degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial data validation for the new TPA claims platform migration.
• Collaborate with other departments to test data and reports.
• Maintain claims data quality by developing financial models to support decisions.
• Create and execute month-end reconciliation routines.
• Develop processes to analyze results, monitor variances, and identify trends.
• Translate business requirements into financial/reporting needs (ledger impacts, subledger mapping, accrual logic).
• Support internal/external audits and regulatory filings.
• Handle special projects and ad hoc reporting.
