Job summary

MartinFed is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Corporate Controller in Huntsville, AL to lead all accounting operations, including monthly closes, budgeting, and contract compliance. This hands-on role reports to the CEO and oversees internal controls, financial planning, and strategic financial analysis.

The successful candidate will drive financial performance, manage cash, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership while ensuring compliance with GAAP and FAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible accounting and financial management experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in federal government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all accounting and financial operations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support growth and profitability.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and government contract accounting requirements.
