Job summary

ATI (Advanced Technology International) is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the Finance & Accounting team. You will establish accounting principles, manage financial reporting, and coordinate with government auditors while strengthening internal controls.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, CPA preferred, and proven leadership. Hybrid work options near Charleston, SC are available, with benefits and a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Masters or BS Degree in Business or Accounting with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience including corporate level and management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills at all levels.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues professionally.
• Ability to research, summarize, analyze and evaluate financial statements and make recommendations.
• Ability to interpret rulings, contracts and regulations; serve external/internal customers.
• MS Office and Costpoint experience highly preferred; leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Direct financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Provide internal financial reporting to aid management decisions.
• Oversee budgeting, intercompany eliminations, and accounting systems.
• Interface with government and external auditors; manage tax and compliance.
• Lead accounting staff; develop policies and procedures; ensure accuracy of records.
