Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in accounting or business administration.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the business/financial services.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in higher education/non-profit accounting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial control activities including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow for university operations.
• Coordinate year-end closing, reporting, and audit preparations with CFO and auditors.
• Manage external reporting to federal, state, and internal agencies and ensure compliance.
