Qualifications

• College degree in Business (AA degree) with emphasis on Accounting or the equivalent.
• At least five years of controller experience in gaming and accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting practices including general ledger, audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and casino accounting.
• Knowledge of Gaming and National Indian Gaming Controls and Procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff.
• Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership.
• Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement.
• Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands.
• Reviews journal entries affecting the general ledger
• Reviews reports for accuracy
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries to create financial statements.
• Responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned
