Job summary

Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club is seeking a Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead the Finance team toward accurate, timely reporting.

You will manage month-end closes, audits, regulatory filings, asset records, and internal controls, while partnering with leadership to inform strategic decisions.

This exempt, full-time role offers a competitive salary in the range of $140,000–$160,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
• 5+ years progressive Accounting/Finance experience
• 3-5 years of team management experience
• Experience in Hospitality preferred, but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close process and ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Maintain accounting records and internal controls
• Coordinate with auditors and tax filings
• Manage asset records including fixed assets and CIP
• Process and record member equity transactions and 1099 Bs
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting
