Job summary

Rose International in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced Writer-Content (Finance) Editor for its client editorial team. This temporary role is hybrid (3 days onsite) with an expected duration of 9 months, and offers $40-$45 hourly pay.

The editor will produce and edit personal-finance content, apply Credit Karma editorial standards, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with content strategists and freelancers to deliver consumer-first articles on banking, credit cards and loans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English or a related field.
  • 5+ years writing/editing experience in personal finance fields.
  • Familiarity with Search and CRO best practices (3-5+ years).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills (3-5+ years).

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit personal-finance content for traditional and AI search, maintaining best practices.
  • Apply Credit Karma Editorial style and standards to content.
  • Maintain uncompromising standards for accuracy and research integrity, producing content that meets high operational and editorial rigor.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders within content marketing and across distributed offices and time zones.
  • Must have an understanding of the credit scoring system, banking, credit cards and loans and be comfortable creating content in a highly regulated industry.
  • Must also have experience working independently to manage owned projects and tasks.
