Job summary

Amgen is hiring a Sr Associate in Finance in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role focuses on financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis to support informed decision-making.

The successful candidate will work with the finance manager and team to deliver accurate operational data, consolidate reports, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in BI tools and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or
• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma / GED with 8 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Support operational processes by ensuring information is complete, accurate, and maintained appropriately
• Coordinate activities across teams to support business operations and project execution
• Gather, analyze, validate, and maintain operational and business data
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, metrics, and leadership updates
• Support corporate consolidation and reporting activities, including preparation, validation, and reconciliation of inputs for enterprise-level reporting cycles
• Coordinate One Techbook preparation for ETDG, ensuring content, metrics, and supporting materials are complete, accurate, and ready for review
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives
• Maintain compliance with established business processes, policies, and governance requirements
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed
