Job summary

CommBank's New York Finance team seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to join and support financial and regulatory reporting for the U.S. broker-dealer, collaborating with Global Markets, Capital Markets, and Risk stakeholders.

You will focus on month-end through year-end close, data analysis, and process improvement, with opportunities to automate and simplify controls using AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' relevant experience in Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting, or similar finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with large data sets and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support FINRA-regulated broker-dealer financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare regulatory reports with data validation and reconciliations.
• Partner with Global Markets Product Control for accurate reporting.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial analysis and commentary for monthly reports.
• Assist with audit, controls, and finance business partnering.
• Drive process simplification and automation using data analytics and AI tools.
