ABM is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to lead the month-end close and support financial performance for a designated region. You will partner with the ESC and Operations to translate results into actionable insights for leadership.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting/finance experience, ownership mindset, and ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders. Local NYC candidates preferred with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Strong month-end close experience and journal entry preparation.
• Advanced Excel; Hyperion SmartView experience; Anaplan preferred.
• Ability to present financial results to non-finance stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; executive-ready narratives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of P&L and balance sheet principles.
• Applicants must be local to New York City.

Responsabilités

• Lead the end-to-end month-end close process for the assigned portfolio.
• Coordinate with ESC to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments.
• Perform variance analysis and identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Provide insights to Operations leadership and support performance improvement.
