Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the UTR Execution team within Amazon Logistics (AMZL). You will influence efficiency initiatives for 15-20 delivery stations across the US and lead cost analyses and connectivity with operations, finance, and support teams.

The role involves month-end close, cost reviews, network-scale projects, and ad-hoc analyses to write the playbook for internal logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years of continuous improvement project experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of Tableau and data mining/reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships with business partners and influence decisions.
• Analyze, synthesize and manage quantitative data to drive cost reductions.
• Propose and implement policies to improve profitability and competitive position.
• Engage floor teams to promote customer focus and continuous learning.
• Lead weekly/monthly close, planning, forecasting, and reporting models with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts across the network.
