Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Center of Excellence Finance team. This role partners with AWS ASP organization to build rigorous financial models, automate reporting, and influence strategic business decisions.

You will own planning for partner program expenses, evaluate investments, and provide insights to leaders. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance/analytics, strong data skills (SQL/Excel), and a proven ability to tell data-driven stories.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in tax, finance or related analytic field experience.
• 3+ years dissecting financial data to support strategy.
• 3+ years cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Invent and automate detailed reporting to monitor Partner programs.
• Review investments to ensure spend meets AWS financial requirements.
• Provide financial due diligence on strategic agreements with key Partners.
• Deep dive monthly/quarterly variances in revenue and expenses.
• Own planning and forecasting for subset of Partner program expenses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and implement new programs.
• Develop governance to protect AWS investments.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to inform leaders.
