Amazon AWS Finance is seeking a highly analytical finance professional to influence financial decisions across AWS data centers and regional operations. You will partner with regional leadership, build detailed financial models, and drive operational efficiencies while supporting rapid growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience.
3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the key business partner working directly with regional AWS management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations.
Report weekly and monthly financial and operating metrics.
Manage the financial planning process: model, analyze and forecast metrics for budgeting and decisions.
Be integral in the monthly financial close process and perform ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Analyze business results for key takeaways to achieve objectives.
Monitor controls and systems, and develop new processes to support growth.
Prepare detailed financial models for business segments and drive initiatives to deliver efficiencies.
