Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst for the EC2 & EBS Capacity Finance team. You’ll model capital expenditure, run variance analyses, and build multi-year forecasts for capacity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) or 3+ years in a quantitative role.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data to support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models to measure capacity utilization and financial performance.
• Produce weekly forecast reports and executive-ready presentations, investigate data anomalies and provide insights.
• Own and drive planning and forecasting projects with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations).
• Develop, improve, and automate financial reports and data pipelines to increase accuracy.
• Participate in ongoing capital analysis and capacity optimization initiatives.
• Deliver ad-hoc business support projects and deep-dives as needed.
