Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and have at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing. Comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary ranging from $97,000 to $110,000 annually are offered.

• Collaborate with Life Cycle Innovation teams for business case justification.

Idex is a global company that provides trusted solutions across more than 40 diverse businesses. We seek a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Health & Science Life Science Optics team in Rohnert Park, CA, and help grow the business through financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Reporting To

Commercial Finance Manager

Location

Rohnert Park, CA (hybrid role: minimum 2 onsite days per week; applicants should live close to an IDEX facility)

ITAR/EAR Criteria

Some positions require compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations. Applicants may need to be U.S. Persons.

Responsibilities

• Perform product line analysis with Ops Finance, Engineering, and Product Managers to identify efficiencies and assess impacts of changing business conditions.
• Act as business partner and liaison with Product Management Leadership, providing financial advice and guidance to achieve profitability targets.
• Deploy standard analytical tools and reporting across the IDEX Health & Science organization to enable effective business management.
• Collaborate with Life Cycle Innovation and New Product Innovation teams to develop financial analysis for business case justification and strategic investments.
• Support Product Management with Yearly Pricing processes and price analytics.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Assist with month‑end close and reporting activities as needed.
• Lead or participate in special projects and assignments.
• Work with the broader Finance team across IDEX Health & Science businesses to streamline reporting and processes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems required (JD Edwards preferred).
• Expert skills in Excel and SAP Web Intelligence; high proficiency in OneStream and Microsoft Office; Power BI preferred.

Total Rewards

Estimated compensation range: $97,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role may also be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
