Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to drive profitable growth for Boost and Carnation Breakfast brands. You will own trade spend accruals, forecast accuracy, and customer P&Ls, delivering actionable insights and robust financial controls.

The role can be remote or hybrid, with a preference for candidates near Bridgewater, NJ. 3+ years in Commercial Finance or FP&A and strong SAP/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Controlling, Trade Spend/Gross-to-Net management, FP&A, or related finance function.
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial controls.
• Proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system, SAP BW, TPM systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI and Power Query experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end trade spend accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and strong controls.
• Develop and manage Gross-to-Net forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize trade investments.
• Deliver monthly RIG/OG reporting and variance analysis, highlighting key drivers affecting performance.
• Build and validate customer P&Ls with accurate cost allocation for commercial decisions.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate customer profitability and drive growth.
• Translate Gross-to-Net results and forecast changes into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Support audit and compliance with proper documentation and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.

Position Summary:

The Senior Finance Analyst partners with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to drive profitable growth for the Boost and Carnation Breakfast brands within Nestlé Health Science. This role leads Trade Spend (Gross-to-Net) actuals, forecasting, reporting, customer P&L management, and profitability analysis, ensuring accurate financial insights and effective investment decisions. By delivering clear performance analysis, identifying business drivers, and monitoring customer profitability, the position helps optimize trade investments, improve financial performance, and support strategic commercial decision-making across the business.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Strong preference for candidates located within a commutable distance to the Bridgewater, NJ headquarters or other Nestlé location.

Responsibilities:

• Own month-end trade spend accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy, strong controls, and balance sheet integrity
• Develop and manage Gross-to-Net forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and optimize trade investments
• Deliver monthly RIG/OG reporting and variance analysis, providing insights into key volume, price, and mix drivers impacting business performance
• Build and validate customer P&Ls, ensuring accurate cost allocation and profitability visibility to support informed commercial decisions
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate customer profitability, identify risks and opportunities, and drive profitable growth
• Translate Gross-to-Net results and forecast changes into actionable business insights for Sales, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders
• Support audit and compliance requirements through accurate documentation, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization, increasing efficiency and enhancing decision-making capabilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Controlling, Trade Spend/Gross-to-Net management, FP&A, or a related finance function; CPG or consumer health experience preferred
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial controls
• Proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system, SAP BW, Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI and Power Query experience preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
