Job summary

TSABAA is seeking a senior Motor Vehicle Programs Inspector to perform advanced inspections for the North Region (Dallas area). The role involves planning, training others, and conducting inspections to identify catalytic converter theft and related motor vehicle crimes.

Frequent travel and report preparation are required. Qualified candidates will have five years of inspection or investigative experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of inspection or investigative experience required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work extra hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university preferred, with related major.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based inspections of facilities and equipment for compliance with statutes.
• Oversee and prepare inspection and investigative reports and records.
• Provide field training and guidance to other inspectors and staff.
• Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate trainings.
